I’m excited to announce that I have found a really, really good way to mix hyaluronic acid with a very common and effective form of niacinamide. I have been using this as part of my daily vitamins for a few years, including the use of it in my skin and hair routine. I think it’s because it’s a safe form of niacinamide that is actually a natural supplement that has been used for centuries.
When I went to my office to get my hair done in the middle of the day, it felt good to be able to combine it with hyaluronic acid in an extravitabolic fashion.
A study was recently conducted to compare the effect of hyaluronic acid with the more commonly used form of niacinamide, niacinamide. It showed that the amount of hyaluronic acid in the body affects the absorption of niacinamide, which in turn affects the body’s metabolism. While hyaluronic acid has been used for centuries for its excellent hydration properties, it is also known for its ability to penetrate skin and other tissues.
The reason Hyaluronic Acid is used for this type of treatment is because it is water soluble, which leaves the body with a larger volume for niacinamide to be absorbed and thus less of a risk of side effects. If you find that you are taking too much of it, you can take it with food.
As a bonus, Hyaluronic Acid contains hyaluronan, which is a natural lubricant (which helps with joint mobility and relieves chafing). Niacinamide is a beta-3 adrenergic receptor agonist and thus has anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, and anti-obesity properties.
The point of this article might not seem to be that hyaluronic acid and niacinamide are the same thing, but they are. In fact, hyaluronic acid is a water soluble substance which is the same as niacinamide. Hyaluronic acid is used in some cosmetic treatments, like the “sleepless night eye mask” and the “hair care serum”.
Hyaluronic acid is most often used in cosmetic formulations for the same reasons as niacinamide: it helps with joint mobility and relief of chafing. Most of the time you’ll see it as an ingredient in hyaluronic acid based products, like the hyaluronic gel cream. But as an anti-inflammatory, anti-obesity compound, hyaluronic acid has been used to treat arthritis and fibromyalgia.
Niacinamide is another anti-inflammatory that is sometimes used to treat arthritis. It has been shown to help with arthritis, joint pain, and muscle soreness.
So with hyaluronic acid, you could try to use it to treat joint pain and joint stiffness. Or even, you could simply add it to your diet for a few days to see if that would help with joint soreness.
