I’ve been working on improving my focus and getting in the zone for the last few weeks. I’ve really been honing my awareness this past week! I decided to go back to the basics of reading to stay focused and I’ve also been working on a new song that I like to listen to on my phone or laptop to keep my mind relaxed.
It seems like you could easily fall into the same trap as me and say you don’t need to focus on the present, you could just focus on relaxing your mind and your body. But the fact is that just because you know you’re relaxed and your mind is focused at the moment doesn’t mean you’re relaxed. Your mind is just the brain’s way of keeping you alert, but the relaxed mind has the ability to be aware of what’s going on around it.
It’s easy to become so involved in your own thoughts that you find your body and your physical activity to be boring or pointless. It’s also possible to relax your body and mind so they are more in tune with each other. We all have our own body-mind patterns that we like to carry over into our day to day activities.
I think there are two ways to be relaxed. The first is to just be aware of the world around you. We all have to slow down and watch what’s going on around us so we don’t get swept up in the drama of others. The second is to slow down and be aware of your thoughts. Our bodies have a natural tendency to go into autopilot mode, so let’s take a few moments to focus on our thoughts and get mindful of them.
When we first wake up, we have a tendency to think about all the things we have to do, and so if we can just shift our thoughts to “things to do”, we can get things done. Even if we dont have any specific tasks to do, we can still shift our thoughts to “do some more work” because we can be more aware of the world around us and the thoughts that go through our head.
We also tend to think that we have to “do” things, when we don’t. We just have to get our act together and deal with the problems that are thrown our way. There are a couple of ways to do it but its best to practice this by doing something you’re good at.
I am going to assume that you mean “get your act together” because you are not doing that. But if you are already doing something you are doing it wrong. I know it seems simple to do, but if you dont do it correctly you will become more and more aware that you are not doing it right.
There are a lot of things you can do to make yourself more awake. The best approach seems to be to find a way to be awake and do it. If you can be awake and do something you can do something about it. If your problem is working with other people you will probably do something that hurts other people. If your problem is making money its usually best to be awake and do that. Most of the things that hurt other people are things that you can prevent.
One of the most important ways to be more awake than you are is to learn a lot more about how people are awake. This not only makes you more awake but also makes you feel more awake. This makes you realize that you are not the only one who is awake, that everyone is awake, that everyone is feeling awake. Making people aware of their own awareness is one of the most important steps you can take to make yourself more awake.
